Yellow "Reversible" Wedding Gown

This dress was made for a Celtic Dragon spring photoshoot with the photography group ShootStyle. All of the gowns in the shoot incorporated green into the design. I wanted something very romantic and flirty. I had a lot of fun with this design. All the vines and flowers were hand drawn and digitized into the embroidery machine at Celtic Dragon. It took many many dry runs of the embroidery for each piece to get the size and color blocks perfect. It was an awesome process! I lined the dress in really fun, bright fabrics, and got many comments that the dress was just as cute inside out, so we took a few photos of the dress being worn inside out!

 Construction

The dress is one piece, with a boned bodice, a pleated skirt, printed twill bodice lining, and metallic silk skirt lining. The dress has an invisible zipper up the center back, and corset lacing. The green trimming is all silk taffeta.
